Times can be very tough in today's job market, particularly when working in volatile sectors such
as IT. When one's age ratchets above 50 the going can become tougher to find a new job, recruitment agents do not want to know you anymore because you are a tougher sell.

With a lifetime of experience to offer can be very frustrating to suffer rejection and simply no response to your CV, which at one time had the headhunters salivating.

The biggest issue that we all face is that we often know some of the theory of how to get a new job, but are weak in implementation.

I thought that my CV was great. How wrong I was!
