Three
months into my job search (a lot of energy but not much focus)
I came across Connaught Executive, having followed up a fairly
speculative Internet enquiry. Little did I know that it was to
be the beginning of a journey that has ended with me landing
my dream position at a top flight organisation.
If you want
a down to earth to earth, no nonsense approach to your situation,
then talk to these guys. What you see is what you get. Don't
expect them to find you a job, that's your job!! But demand of
them how to assess what's right for you and how to go about getting
it, and they will deliver.
The programme
is straightforward. It requires hard work and it will push and
challenge you to challenge yourself. You will learn techniques
and tips that last a lifetime both in and out of the work environment.
Is it worth
the money? Depends on your view point I suppose. If you'd rather
sit on the cash and be miserable at work or remain unemployed,
don't sign up. That's not much of a proposition. I took the view
it was an investment in me and the payback was the difference
between £54 a week on job seekers allowance or a Vice President's
salary at JP Morgan... Q.E.D.
